Palo Alto College has hired Brian Mc Daniel as new cybersecurity faculty and program lead for the Cyber Defense and Operations program. They will begin Cybersecurity P-TECH with South San and Edgewood ISD this fall.
Brian is retiring as a Senior Computer Systems Project Manager at Lackland AFB and is retired Air Force. He has been an adjunct faculty for the college for over 20 years and is nearing completion of his Doctorate of Information Assurance. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional; has certificates from CompTIA in CASP+, Security+, PenTest+, Cloud+; and has graduate certificates from EC Council University in Digital Forensics, IT Analyst, and Information Security Professional.
